SLEDDING
Idigadog Kennels began when we bought our first sled dogs in 1996 and our journey into the world of racing began in 1997.
We joined the newly formed Canberra Sled Dog Club and absolutely loved it.
Our first race was in August that same year where the team were 1st placed Alaskan Malamutes.
How could you not be hooked after that?
Over the past 28 years we have done many, many kilometres in training, racing and travelling. The Idigadog team are regulars on the national race circuit and have been very successful.
Both Andrew and Lisa have served on various sledding committees over this time.
Caleb has been racing pretty much most of his life and is as enthusiastic about the dogs and racing as we are. He has gone through the PeeWee, Junior and Touring and Veteran classes and now loves being in the rig classes. Hopefully, in the years to come, Caleb will be the backbone of Idigadog and will inherit all his parents' hard work!
